Pricing and Quotes
Money questions first, because nobody wants to wonder about cost mid-emergency.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. Coming out and having a look costs nothing, that's the $0 Call Out Fee. We ask for payment only after you've agreed to a written price for the repair itself.
How do your quotes work?
We look at the job on-site, explain what's wrong in plain English, then give you one number in writing before any work starts. That figure covers the whole job, not a starting estimate.
How can I pay?
Card, tap or bank transfer, whatever suits you on the night. Payment happens after the work is done and you've confirmed you're happy with it.
Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?
No. The price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions, whether it's a Tuesday afternoon or 3am on a public holiday.

The Legal Side, Made Simple
Who's allowed to do what, and what protects you if something's wrong.
Can I check your plumbing licence?
Yes, and we'd rather you did. We hold NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, and every plumber who comes to your door is licensed and insured to do the work.
Who can legally do gas work in NSW?
Only an appropriately licensed gas fitter, by law. If a job in your Bellevue Hill home touches gas pipework or a gas appliance, that's who we send, not a general tradesperson working outside their ticket.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, on every callout. NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, full insurance, and a plumber who can show you both if you ask.
What is safe to try myself before you arrive?
Turning off water at the meter or an isolation valve is safe and often helps. If you smell gas, don't try anything at all: leave the property, call from outside, and skip switches or open flames on your way out.

Response and Booking
How quickly we move, and what happens once you've called.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Anything that's actively damaging your home or unsafe to leave, like a burst you can't stop, water pooling near light fittings, sewage backing up, or a gas smell. A dripping tap or a slow-filling cistern can usually wait for a booked visit instead.
How fast can you get here?
We come on-site fast once you call, with a plumber dispatched to your Bellevue Hill address straight away. You'll hear from us the moment you hang up, and we keep moving until we're at your door.
Are you really open 24/7?
Yes, genuinely, not a diverted line. Call at any hour and a licensed plumber answers, takes the details and books the job in.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Every weekend and every public holiday, same as any other night. Plumbing problems don't check a calendar, so neither do we.

Working Around Bellevue Hill
The questions that only make sense once you know the suburb.
Which suburbs do you service?
Bellevue Hill plus the rest of Woollahra Municipal Council: Double Bay, Rose Bay, Woollahra, Dover Heights and Vaucluse. Same fixed pricing and the same standard of work everywhere on that list.
Do tree roots really block drains around Bellevue Hill?
Constantly. Mature street trees send roots into the earthenware clay joints under older properties, and once a root finds a crack it keeps coming back to the same spot until the pipe itself is dealt with.
Why do Bellevue Hill's older homes keep us busy?
Most of the suburb was built in the 1910 to 1930 boom, so grand Federation and Queen Anne homes on streets like Victoria Road are still running plumbing laid down a century ago. Original pipework fails on its own timeline, not yours, which is why so many of our calls here are unplanned.
How local are you to Bellevue Hill, really?
Bellevue Hill is home turf for us, not a suburb we drive into occasionally. Between the grand older houses and the newer apartment blocks, we've usually seen something close to your exact setup before.
